Supersonic Badminton

ABOUT US

A Wembley badminton club built on weekly match play, league teams and coaching that measures what changed. Here is how it started and who runs it.

Our Story

Supersonic started as a handful of players who wanted better games than they were getting anywhere else.

From a club night to three promotions

Supersonic Badminton Club was founded in Wembley by head coach Tushar, and has grown into a community 1.8K+ followers strong, fielding league teams in the Middlesex County Badminton Association.

In 2022 the men's 1st, men's 2nd and mixed teams were all promoted in a single season. That does not happen because of one strong player. It happens when a whole club trains with purpose, week after week.

Today the club runs weekly club nights, competitive teams for players who want them, and structured coaching for anyone who wants to improve faster than match play alone allows.

Meet Tushar

✏️ Portrait of Tushar on court, racket in hand, warm and confident. Professional shoot, dark background to match the site.

Hi, I'm Tushar. I picked up a racket more than 25 years ago and never put it down. For the last 15+ years I've coached players across north-west London: beginners finding their first clean clear, club players breaking through a plateau, and juniors chasing county selection.

My coaching belief is simple: most players don't need more effort, they need better mechanics and earlier decisions. Fix the footwork and the contact point and the "hard" shots become repeatable. That's why every session I run has one measurable goal: you should be able to say exactly what improved when you walk off court.

Whether you're a novice who wants to build the game properly from day one, a club player who wants to stop losing the same rallies, or a parent of a junior with real ambitions, I'm here to listen and work with you.

✏️ Pre-launch: extend with Tushar's real story: where he trained, competitive history, qualifications, and how Supersonic began. Specifics build trust; keep it under 250 words.

Player Improvement Stories

Not testimonials, case studies. What the player couldn't do, what we changed, and how long it took.

Story TBC: the plateau breaker

A club player stuck at the same standard for years. What was actually holding them back, what we rebuilt, and the result: a first league win, a promotion, a rival finally beaten.

Story TBC: the ambitious junior

A junior working towards county selection. Training structure, what changed technically, and the milestone reached: squad selection, tournament result, national ranking.

Story TBC: the late starter

An adult beginner who thought they'd left it too late. From first clean clear to holding their own at club night, and the moment it clicked.
